I have exprienced this on my used 545i since i had it, does anyone else get the same feeling, should i get the dealer to look at it?
Basically, on tickover, in neutral or drive (when staionary) you can feel the engine wobble slightly. You can feel it through the footbrake, gear lever and steering wheel as a very slight vibration.
its difficult to explain, but it just feels like a big V8 on slow tickover, but, having never driven a V8 before, I dont know if its normal.
tickover is just a smidge over 500rpm on the rev counter, the car has done 25k miles and runs great.
Do any other V8 owners get the same feeling or sensation through the brake pedal?
Please let me know
Many thanks

A V8 is inherently inbalanced, and it will wobble, particularly at idle. It should be barely detectable, though. If it is anything your passengers can feel, I'd say there is something wrong with engine management. If you can only feel it when you are "connected" through steering wheel/pedals, then I'd say it's OK.

My Ride: 2004 545i / Orient Blue (I think) / Tan int / 116's Wheels / ... my favorite option, the HEATED steering wheel!
Previous cars retired:
2006 Corvette Z51, 2002 Corvette Coupe, 2002 Mustang, 1997 Maxima, 1994 Camry, 1990 Supra
None, and I mean none compare to this 545i. The 06 Corvette was faster, but not by much...
No wobble here, I'd get that checked out.
