Not because of the performance improvement (although it's a plus) but I will give my wife the 545i (she wants the comfort seats anyway) and I'll dump her 330Ci and get myself a 2007 550i. Maybe. I also want a 2006 Corvette Z06, and Porsche 911 Carrera 4S,...

When my CPO warranty runs out in 2009, I'd like to pick up a CPO 2007 M5 w/manual trans. That's the plan. Just need to figure out how to pay for it.

That's sound a very good plan to me. Your and your wife's income will make your life better (or worst?
). Buy a house and start investing. Once you get residual income from your investment, that'll be your M3.
