So i have a green-gray 05 545i i am wanting to trade in. anyone know what they are going for on trade?

2005 545i

Pretty loaded car

sport package
cold package
heads up display
premium sound
multi disk CD
Polished chrome factory rims
sun shades

the car stickered around 78K new

it has approx 67K miles on it

new front tires and new brakes aswell

Let me know what the dealers will go for? I am hearing there is not a lot of cars out there used so I guess the market is a little strong right now. Car is in great shape as well

I never understand this stuff....KBB.com says the cars suggested retail price is 24,730 and private person is 19200-22130 depending on condition and trade in is 16800-19500 depending on condition...and you really think 15 or less...wow, whats the point of kelly blue book.....what should i try and sell if for privately then?

You should be able to get around 18-19k, there was a topic here about a day ago asking the same thing look for that one for more info. Found it https://5series.net/forums/topic/112...-they-serious/

simple just go to autotrader.com and look at your model on sale 545i same year similary optioned etc and see what others are selling for, if a dealer has it for like 20k for sale maybe knock down 3-4k and that should be a close ballpark of ur trade in value

You will at least get KBB mid trade-in if your car is clean.

You car is worth exactly the $amount someone is ready and willing to pay for it. All other prices are 'suggested' values. They just give you rough idea.

As others suggested above, go to AutoTrader.com or Cars.com and check the going prices for that year/model.
