Hi everyone.. I'm really excited to say that I'm in the process of acquiring an 05 545i. The lease paperwork is in the works and I expect to have the car pretty soon. *fingers crossed*

Anyhow, I searched a lot of the other forums before being pointed in this direction and I have to say, this is by far the most informative and fantastic E60 board.. which I'm sure was your objective.

In any event.. I noticed that the other Bimmer owners aren't too friendly with the E60 owners... and am just glad to find this forum.

I hope I'm not duplicating a post or anything but I'd love it if you could tell me your favorite things about the car, things that you dislike and things that you wish you didn't have to deal with... all tips and hints appreciated.

I owned a 325i and a Z4 and loved the Bimmer so no question on why I wanted this car.

Thanks and hope to get some feedback from you all.

Hey, good to see you here. How did you find your way over from bimmerfest? You will definitely find yourself here more often than over there. As you already know, I had replied in your orignial thread in bimmerfest. Welcome!

Octee welcome to the true e60 forum, I'm the one who recomend this forum to you. Bimmerforum it's not too friendly to e60 owners, they only recognize 10 to 15 years old BMWs. You will have great time here, and the guys on e60 forum are great and helpful.

Only my name looked familiar? Not my lovely and beautiful avatar? I have the same avatar on both forums.

The only time I visit bimmerforum is to go to the Kill sub forum there. A lot of youngsters to be sure and they all think their e36 318s, 325s and 328 can beat just about anything.
