545i Low oil pressure solved
I'm fairly new to the forum, and it's helped me a bit, thought I'd start giving back.
I got the "low oil pressure" warning recently. I replaced the oil pressure switch and that didn't do it. Praying it wasn't the oil pump, began searching for other possibilities. Saw this quick video on youtube from "German Auto" about the oil check valves, ordered all 6, and it solved the problem. Easy install. I'm not a mechanic (do most of my 545i service now), I had the job done in under an hour. Links are below.
