Whats up fellas, another newbie question. trying to figure out how do you guage a wheels offset. what part of the wheel are you measuring to get the proper #'s. Thanks in advance!

without knowing what model is your car, most people will not be able to give you a straight answer but assuming you have a RWD with stock 18", front is 18 and rear is 32. You can add spacers if you want to push it out. Search this forum for "wheel offset" and you'll should find more info on it.

Thanks for the input. I'm running 172's on an 08 550i. I was inquiring because i just purchased 20in forged rims and dont know the offset. They are pre-owned off a returned lease 530i. The new rims are 9 front, 10.5 rear and was told no rubbing occurred unless the car had a full load. Since they came off an e60 then i shouldnt be concerned with them not clearing the brake hardware. I had the chance to search wheel offset as u suggested and got brought up to speed......again, thanks!
