545 Transmission Slam Update

My Ride: 2005 545i, Black on Black, cold weather pkg, Logic 7 sound, steptronic.
Just an update -- Dealer was going to hookup a laptop to my car, but informed me last night that CIP 17.01 had just been released and was supposed to fix the Slam problem (This problem is mentioned specifically in the notes for 17.01).
I had it installed today and so far no slamming (of course it only happens once a week or so anyway). I'll keep everyone up to date.
As an aside, I didn't see any other changes whatsoever with the new software. Looks just like 16.3.

I asked my sales person at BMW of Mountainview to look into whether they are shipping the 545i with ver 17.01 but he hasn't responded yet. My car was produced the first week of May, so I'm hoping it comes already loaded.

My Ride: E60 545i, 2004. Alpine white, ventilated seats, confort seats, bluetooth, HI-FI Audio, Electrical Rear Blinds, manual Side blinds, Sport Package, Confort Glass,Active steering, Business Navigation
My 545 has the 17.0 version installed i knew about the 17.0 when i red in the forum about the software upgrade (16.2) i went to my dealer to check, he informed that it is the 17.0 
however, i felt the slam you guys are taking couple of times since i owned the car (2months back) but it is not something that it happens frequently. besides that, the car accelaration is superb and i am very satisfied

Slam, is when you put D the car Jumps as if somebody hit you from the back
