I know this has been covered before, but -
I have trouble using the launch control. I follow the instructions but I do not seem to have any "delay" before I take off. That is, while the pedal is on the way down to the floor, the car starts moving before the revs come up.
Help please!

You're going to need to outline the exact steps you're taking so I can figure out what's wrong here...

You really have to slam the pedal to the floor...Took me a couple of tries and then I think I literally yelled "Holy S#!t when it worked. Haven't tried it since as it laid down so much rubber and let out such a loud squel. I was on a newly built road and it was most certainly a "launch."

I don't use it much, however there was a friend of mine that wanted me to show him how it worked. I tried several times and it just wouldn't work. The next day it worked fine. Could be that you are doing it correctly but the software "burped" (?)
Like Rudy said, let us know the exact sequence that you are using and we may be able to help.

Thanks for all the feedback and welcoming wishes. Here is what I have been doing:
At a complete stop, with the carer in Sport mode, take off DSC (3 second hold so the "warning" light comes on) and place in D mode. TRhe stomp down hard to the floor.

You shouldn't use the automatic (D) mode. Just leave it in normal (manual) mode -- it'll shift as long as you plant your foot down and stick it to the floor. If you lift at all, it'll stop launch mode and it won't shift.
It looks like you're doing everything else correctly. Good luck.
