I didn't find the oil pan too difficult to do on jack stands with x-drive. Granted we don't get too much corrosion over here. Both my front axles pulled out pretty easy and I just unbolted the front diff from the pan and moved it to the side (left driveshaft connected) and then pulling the pan down was basically no different than RWD at that point. I had the subframe out already for my turbos as well.

I have a 2-post lift in my shop. It helped this job go smoothly and saved my back some.


It wasn't bad at all although I had the luxury of a lift. I fully removed axles and diff as I thought I would need the room but I can see how supporting them could be easier especially on jackstands. My diff got knocked over on the ground so that was fun to clean up off of the shop floor.

Installed ARM DCI and charge pipe with knockoff Tial Q. Jb4 installed the same day and slowly figuring it out.

I don’t like how the charge pipe rubs the ps reservoir so when I install a larger intercooler I will play with the fitment.

Tapped into the map sensor for vacuum/boost reference for the bov. Felt like this was one of the cleaner solutions.
