hi to everyone.. i am coming from an e39 m5 and ooking forward to purchasing a 2008 535i or xi in Anyway... when i purchase the car i want to get a few mods done to the car. I wanted to know if anyone can give me some advise as to where i can get a perfect fit M5 bumper (Maybe side skirts and rear bumper as well) I know ddm tunning had great bumpers for the e39 but not sure about the e60. sure about the e60. Also.. who offers a good quad exhaust for the car and is it an easy install or does anything under the car block the exhaust on the other side?? And does anyone has the m6 wheels?? If so what was the price and where did you purchase.. Thanks in advance

The Ix are good in bad weather but limit the moding due to the stagger, and lack of suspension choices. There are some but they are limited in the manufactures of the choices.

For engine mods look in to the piggy backs from Visnu and BMS. RPi for the exhaust. Trinity should be your first stop for shopping good guys, and very willing to help out E60 owners.

You may want to move this to the Mod section since this is the general E60 area.

I agree and disagee

There is nothing limiting the OP on the mod options he has listed

wheel choices that come in proper offsets are somewhat limited if you have expensive taste in wheels

lowering/suspension options are limited

if you are ok with that, and you need AWD, the xi is an excellent choice

I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend. What I meant was don't expect to have a staggered setup for wheels and suspension limitations if you buy an XI. Its not like you can't "mod" if you get one. Bad choice of words.

As I mentioned before ... I've got staggered setup on mine for quite awhile ... yes the only limitation is the suspension choice ... but lowering it's still an option.
