Prices in the OP are too low, from what I've seen.

Considering your car is silver and higher miles, you're probably on the lower end of the price range quoted above.

My Alpine white with black interior and low miles was on the higher end.

Regarding maintenance warranty, its being discussed here: https://5series.net/forums/topic/114...cpo-2008-535i/

You don't need to purchase the maintenance warranty for 2K+ if you have an independent mechanic who knows his stuff or you are good with performing regular maintenance check yourself.

All N54 Engines (535i) are covered by warranty for 100k miles automatically. This is due to the HPFS failure.

Oil change, Brakes, Rotors, Micro filter and other small jobs shouldn't cost 2K+. You can buy the parts from the vendors on this forum (Mike@Acute Performance & Trinity) and do it yourself.

Example, what if I find something like this (Although this has a grey interior ) And say 26K out the door!

Will it be that Black interior that jacks up the price?? From what i've been seeing, cars with grey interiors seem to be at a better price than those with black ones.

Heres a one with virtually the same mileage but a black interior (Although this one has a few more options and the dealer is "Higher Tier") and its significantly more expensive....

Hmmm....

I bought mine from a BMW dealership so I'm guessing their overhead is higher.

Also, the cheaper one you linked has no options. The other one has sport/prem/navi. These options do add a lot to the cost so its really up to you to decide what you want and how much you're willing to pay to get it.

$32k for 57k miles and non CPO is high IMO.

It has no features listed but look at the photos...it appears to have nav/sport/premium pkg

True, I'm about set on entering this Love/Hate relationship though. This is going to be like having a beautiful but high maintenance girlfriend that i'm constantly trying to figure out but always seems to satisfy me better than the previous ones. Its nothing i'm not ready to handle

If you're looking at an E60 you should realize the cars are sophisticated and overly engineered. Things go wrong and there is a premium to have them repaired.
I've been extremely fortunate, 89K on 2006. I have yet to replace the brake pads, that's how amazing the car has been. Oil change every 7500 miles and one minor repair. Will probably treat it to new plugs in another 11K. I also don't drive it like it's one fire. It's a four door sedan and I treat it like one.
