If I stand in front of the exhaust and look down on my 2007 525i the exhaust tips came out a little bit to fill the gap, but on my 2010 535i the exhaust tip seem to be a little shorter. Anyone else on a 535i that can let me know if this is the same with your cars?

That doesn't look right, but then again, I have the MTech bumper.

My exhaust tips stick out beyond the bumper by a good half an inch.

No pics now, sorry.

Don't laugh , but it could be a safety reason. Recently Volvo and Mazda Have had to both recall cars to make sure that the exhaust tips don't stick out too far. Apparently little kids burn their legs on them getting out of the trunk ( Are you serious? I'd think there would be more issues with the kid rolling around in the trunk) and the back hatch of Wagons and SUVs ...

I miss the old days.....

Okay, here's a pic...

Not the best, and the car is a mess.

Again, the Mtech is completely different, but does stick out quite a bit more.

As I look at the two previous posted pics, I would say that the second pic is where it should be positioned, with the edge of the tips in line with the edge of the bumper. I wouldn't worry about it.

Can you check straight down from the top angle? If I angle my view slightly off I can also get what you have as well.
Here is my pic from slightly off angle.

Yeah your probably right, I should go check it out at the bmw dealer to see what other 535i exhaust with standard bumpers look like. I'm just anal about stuff that looks odd.
hehe.
