i also told my service rep the last time it was in the shop(oil change) that the tires were making alot of noise and he just blew that off and told me i need new tires.

Brecht is a good and trustworthy dealership. I've bought two BMW's from them and had them both serviced there. I have not heard any complaints from other people I know who have dealt with them. I'd guess that there might be some sort of communication issue here. They will work with you.

ok,bmw replaced the fuel pump and updated the software,kept the car overnight to start the software up again and still getting the engine malfunction.they had to call bmw na themselves. so still no answer.

an x3 . i had to go there this morning to give them a copy of my dl,and they have a pamphlet for a turbo booster(i think the company was spintec?)so i ask the guy,if i buy this does this void the warranty? he says its real easy to take off so just take it off before you bring the car in. my question is what happens if it sets some codes off and the dealer can void the warrant that way? how can the dealer sell you something and not cover it? is there a rule if they cant fix my car by a certain time that they would give me a better car? or am i sol? thanks

I would stick to getting this problem properly sorted out, and have some months of worry free driving under my belt first....then maybe, MAYBE look at some mods. You don't want anything making the picture any more cloudy than it is right now.
