I had my car remapped a couple of days ago by Simon at E-Maps. What a great guy he is and what a difference he's made to the performance. I can't stop smiling!

He was telling me that he'd heard of someone that complained and complained to his dealer about the gearbox problems on his 535d and they eventually changed the gearbox oil and cured the problem. Apparently this was on an early model and the factory had put in the wrong oil. Has anyone else heard of anytthing like this?

No. I certainly have not, mine is booked in the end of next week to have the software upgraded to fix the "slam" problem.

I haven't, either but then I don't have the slam badly.

My good old buddy Simon has also not told me that, yet.
Class guy he is, very knowledgeable and also personally a very pleasant experience.

Enjoy your "new" car.
