Hi guys I recently bought my 2005 535d and have a problem where it is held flat out say 130mph up it will sometimes cut the power be very flat and not change up a gear and just rev ?

It will work in manual box but the car is not full power still. Then I switch the engine off and back on and its all fine again any ideas ?

Thanks

Stu

Sounds like your bypass valve is sticking shut or partially closed. I have a diagram of how the turbos work I will see if I can post it you will see what I mean
