Hi all,
I've had my 535d for a few weeks now and really want to stick the badge back on. I have the part from BMW but rather than sticking it roughly in the right place i want to make sure it?s perfect.
Does anyone know where i can get a template, or some measurements from? I've Goggled a few times but have come up blank.
Even some pics that i can print out and fit over my car!!!
Any advice on fitting also welcome, I?m lead to believe they are a bugger to stick correctly!!!

2.Put a length of 1/2" masking tape along the bottom edge of the boot lid where the badge goes.
3.Put another piece of 1/2"masking tape vertically on the RHS if the boot lid.
4.Position your new badge to align with the two tapes, be very careful once you have removed the adhesive backing, you only get one chance!
5.Press the new badge firmly with both thumbs ,then remove the front film from the new badge.
6.Job done!

I've had my car a couple of weeks and it looks a bit a bit pimped with the sun protection, plus no badge.
Let me know if you need another pic - I'll probably find the dealer has been playing pin the tail on the donkey with mine when I get it back

Cheers

I got the badge through a mate that is a master technician with BMW, he handed it to me and just wished me good luck!!

There are actual measurements for each number/letter on the bmw tis/etk program.
At least there was when I rebadged my e39.
Your dealer should be able to print it out for you for future reference.
