whats the big deal , i have driven the 535d (albeit stock), the 545i , the 645i , and 650i , and there is really no comparison . what more do you want ?

no matter how good it is, its simply not top of the line... for the seven series they have the 6 litre v12, for the five series they have the 4.8litre v8


pity is i would never consider it if i were looking for a fast sedan... for economy fine, but diesel just doesnt cut it in my book.

go drive the 231bhp 530d. It will hit 50mph quicker than the 535d. after that its game over of course

my dealer says: 291bhp/580nm
but my contact in berlin said: 296bhp /unknown torque


so not very sure yet
