How can I make ours look like yours? What products do you use to clean your beauty?

I'm collecting a list of products you guys recommend
I've already been recommended with 3M Imperial Hand Glaze to take out the swirl marks. I should wax with Blitz One Grand. What other good products are there?

When I first got the car it was covered in loads of really bad swirls so the first things I used on it were

That fixed most of the swirls, I still have some but after about 6 hours work with a Porter Cable the paint looked like this:

All I do now to maintain it all I do is hose the car down, wash with Meguiars Gold Glass and a Lambs Wool mitt (which gets machine washed after each car wash) starting from the top and working down, dry with a decent leather and if I have the time top up the shine with some good quality wax (I use the one in the pic above)

Just so you know before the car park shoot the car had a quick 20 minute wash with meguiars and buckets of clean water thrown over it to rinse as I didn't have a hose pipe! Once you get the swirls out it's just a matter of being careful when washing to preserve the finish, this is my first black car (my last three cars have been silver) and although it is harder work to keep looking good I think it looks a lot better when kept shiny

OMG Mambo i have the exact colour and i have already alot of swirl marks. Do you guys find enoguh using a good wax to cover them or i must get an abrasive polish?
Spectacular good looking...although i prefer the 166 wheels over the 172. I even prefere the 135 over the 172 but just in design. The size and fittings are better obviusly on the 172 but i like the shape of the 135. More progressive spokes, more fluid, just like the car design. I don;t like the way the 172 spokes look like bent. But the colour and paintwork looks stunning...takes your eyes away and keeps them on the shine. Great job.

I think if you get the swirls out properly with an abrasive and then look after it you should be OK

I did mine about 2 months ago and there are already some fine scratches over the paint, I am going to try layering wax on it when it gets a bit warmer and see if that protects the paint for a little longer

WRT the wheels I like the 172 but would prefer if the rear was noticably wider (like on the M3)...

Yeah me too. I mean i don't have a 275 setup yet but i saw alot to tell that i would have wanted the tire to be a bit more wider, to fill the gap even better. It seems there is not way of putting anything wider on 19's no matter the combination. Spacers are the only solution i'm afraid...

You know I used to think the same until I saw some 172s in person. They are straight-up the perfect rim for E60s lines

Good work BMW
