My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
The 535 v 550 race is on for 3pm tommorrow afternoon! With my Dinan software upgrade slated for next Wednesday, I called the 550 owner I was trying to race a month or so ago one last time. His commitment still sounded a little weak but if we do not do it tommorrow, we may never know. Monday and Tuesday of next week looks like rain so this is it. I have literally, just short of a getting a restraining order against me, have been trying to do this months.

My Ride: 2011, X6 Hybrid . Alpine White , every option. 20" Conti' NON runflats,OEM trunk spoiler , LUX V3 AE's , HP Thunder Fogs , custom front bumper reflector delete........
,..................... I would just race and post the results , now if this race does'nt happen again you're going to get fried big time

I am certainly interested in the results if it occurs, but I will be more interested to find out what you think of the Dinan software.

I am trying to make it happen, and I'm more frustrated than you all are. Unfortunatley I can't control the other guys actions. My wife thinks I'm crazy for racing and for getting the Dinan software, but thats just me...

So this will be stock versus stock? And then you do your mods and then go again? I'd love to be part of that on either side. You like to have a yardstick more than the butt dyno 
Are you doing any other before and after - like Gtech or Drag strip?
I was a little disappointed by a 335i post (not here) that had no before and then an outrageous after AA mod. Posted numbers (GTech only) that a C6 could not beat.

I am so surprised that no one here nor any car magazines have raced these two cars yet!
