hey all, i just got a question that im sure many of you can answer... but me not yet! i just bought a 2006 530xi. but it seems to be very hard to find performance parts for it. but for the 530i... they are all over the place. what is or are the major differences between the two besides the 4wheel drive. can i buy parts for a 530i that will fit the 530xi like an exhaust for example. they seem to be a like in that type of aspect i guess but i want to be sure. just trying to pull a lil knowledge from yall who have owned thier Bimmers for a while. thx

My Ride: '06 530i, '07 C280 4matic, '98 ML320
Some of the parts are common/same for both 530Xi and 530i while other parts are different. Drive train-related parts are definitely different and some of the suspension and cross-members are different. If I were you, I'd check the part numbers and check with the dealer before buying parts.
