I have a 535d Sport which is a couple of months old and I'm glad to report has none of those gremlins. I'm sure your car when you get it will be fine and hopefully you'll be much happier. I'll be interested to see what the 19" wheels are like too though i think the standard wheels look fine.

Hopefully they will be the same as the M5. I have read that the M5 gets 255's & 285's. So narrow versions on the sport maybe. I did see a pic on my dealers pc and they looked fabulous.
Have you ever driven a 530d and if so what do you reckon is the difference. i only had a quick go in a 535d and the first thing that struck me was how much more refined the engine sounded. I believe the action is all over 60mph in the 535. 0 -100 in the 530 is 19.6secs and i'm sure i read 16.something for the 535.

Are they run-flats though?
I still can't find it on the web-site, either from the configurator or the prices/specs->Options! What am I missing?

@ question 2)
This hard acceleration was gone after my recent software-update.
But also was gone the nice strong acceleration from nearly the bottom of rpm, as the car now always shifts down.
It feels as the acceleration became worse.
I wanted my old software back. The hard acceleration when in cruise control was not as bad as the lack of acceleration now.

I have had various things tightened to stop creaking noises.
Specifically to the engine though I have found the lag annoying at times (may be expecting too much being at 6000 feet and with a detuned engine)
gear changes can be unpredictable
engine sometimes revs too high, out of the torque peak
some transmission grinding noises-had new one fitted which did not fix the problem and now waiting or a new DDE controler and software to be installed by BMW head office.
Overall I am happy with the car but there is a lot of electronics that seems beyond the dealer to sort out when things go wrong. Probably not unique to BMW.

[/quote]Yes they are run-flats.
Your not missing anything. BMW have only added it to the options list. From my experience they take longer to update the configurator. I think the wheels are identical to the current M3's.

Let us know how they ride...
I'm confused now - you said they were on the web site?
