I know I might not be with the majority but I've always really liked the 123 rims and wish they were offered in a 9"x18" size for the rear.

My Ride: 2008 M5 -- Exterior: Silverstone, Interior: Black. Fully Loaded. That just about sums it up! :-)

Or, you can go with the M5 166 wheels.
I simply took off the 123's I had on and dropped in the 166 wheels:
IMPORTANT NOTE: See my signature below. I did have to step down one width for the front tires because of potential wheel rub. Surprisingly, my car *appears* to be lowered and the wheels look fairly tucked.

I wonder why they only use the staggered set up on the 550 and not on the 530, 525 with sport package?

What would a tire/rim setup like yours cost Cool Tones?
My "acquisition" of the 166's was a "act now!" sort of deal. My dealership had a set of 166's that another E60 owner insisted he wanted, in the actual size that the M5's came in. Well, the 285 rears fit, but the 255 fronts rubbed when you turn the wheel side-to-side.
The dealership warned him about this and told him that he could get away with 245's in the front. The guy wanted a *purist* set up.
Well, I'm not that picky. I was able to get the whole set up (with SportContact 2 tires) for less than $1,700 -- And that was with both the rims and tires! The 255 tires were swapped with 245s and I didn't have to pay for balancing or mounting.

I don't remember the pricing on the 5-series accessories catalog but I believe I got a decent deal.
