I am trying to get some new rims for my 2008 528i (basic)
I am not sure what the size of the stock/oem tires but im assuming 17"
The wheels ive been looking at is said to have measurements of 8 5x120 +20 offset
The seller states that it fits the e60 from 2008-2010 but i just want to make sure myself.
This might sound really dumb(im new to car world)
But can you fit my current tires on the new rims?
(I use to be into bikes and i can tug a smaller tirer onto a bigger wheel and itll work fine)
Any help and suggestions will help
Thanks!

I'm gonna guess and say that the new rims you're looking at are larger than 17's, so NO - your old tires will not fit.
5x120 is the bolt pattern and YES - this is your bolt pattern
8 is the width of the rim
the 8 should go along with the diamter of the rim - i.e. 17", 18", 19"...etc.....
+20 is the offset - how much it's gonna stick out of the fender. stock offset for your car is +20, so these rims will fit.
another thing you should know is the center bore size. i believe your center bore is 72.56. You should try to find rims with this center bore so you can be "hub-centric". Or you will need a center ring/hub for perfect placement and avoid "possible" vibrations on the road.
Don't forget to transfer your tpm sensors.
I think that's it.
