Just had my whole cooling system replaced as preventative maintenance. You could have debris build up blocking the rad. Can you check engine coolant temp versus radiator outlet temp? Turning on A/C will force the electric fan to run. With the fan running you should see at park, when fully warmed up (oil temp of 95-100C), an engine coolant temp of around 95-98C. And a radiator outlet coolant temp of anywhere from 40-55C. At cruising speed on the highway your radiator outlet should be approaching ambient air temp. Your coolant levels are good? Definitely not losing coolant? Expansion tank good?

Yeah, everything about my coolant is good, no leaking at all. I had my radiator flushed as well by professionals. The coolant temp still went up to 117 on normal cruising. Just like the first post of this thread said. Exactly the same thing.
