Here's a chart of what mine is doing at the moment on a 240Km trip (2hrs and 20mins) Didn't hit 80 until an hour into the drive. The first hour of the trip was on cruise at 110Km/hr. the rest was in the city and freeway.
Next time I'll also log speed.

Hi

Ahh ok! mine take 20 min. to reach the same 80c?

Are you car still getting the right temp. with hose 12 blocked?

There are software differences depend on what country you live in so i think thats why some has DME issues and like you mechanicly issues.

[QUOTE=Don dario;1563312]Hi

Yes... hose still plugged and will be plugged. DME seems to be working correctly also... when I do "kickdown", DME drops engine temp to ~80C temporary. (Better acceleration with lower engine temp).

Pistratoaie, what kind of equipment and software did you use to map and present in the diagram?

I also wonder how to reach and disconnect the stat cable, from above or from beneath??

Cheers B)

used BMWhat App, or as it's now called Carly for BMW. recorded parameters and then used excel to create the graph.

Stat is possibly only accessible from underneath. I tried to disconnect the Stat from underneath on mine one day but didn't remove the right plate. I need another day now to put the car up and give it another shot.

Hi

Its very easy to take the small plate of near the front bumper. it take no more then 5 minute to unplug it:-) you dont even has to put the car up for this;-)

Looking forward to hear if Theres any changes!

Has any of you tried blocking the hose as mentioned above?
