Ok.. ...tell me your opinions between these two cars and obviously why you perfered the BMW ? Namely interested in the driving.. I only drove each car very short time thanks....which is more zippy livelier... i am seriously thinking of 3-series as well.
for me,
style : BMW
engine: BMW
handling: Mercedes ( i always perfer the heavy tank like feel)
fuel Efficiency: BMW
Resale : BMW
Your opinions please...

I just like this thread. It just made me LOL
Style is subjective . Some like bmw or mbz style.
I might like Mbz interior more but nav screen is too low. I like e60 ergonomy![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
Mbz manual shift in auto shift side way

IMO, I started with a BMW awhile back, love the handling, steering. Went from 3 series, X5 and now a E60 and I still love. Last year purchased a Mercedes CLK320. It didnt have sports suspension but yet it was a smooth ride. I upgraded everything from shocks, springs, sway bars just to get the feel of sports suspension. The car was fun to drive, but yet it was missing the "ultimate driving machine." I still have the Mercedes and its FOR SALE.
