Where can i order seats, or would it be cheaper to have the leather re-wrapped, if I wanted a different color?


Any idea how much this process would cost me and if it is worth it.

Looking at a project car as well with brown interior and I would like to change it to black.

You should be able to buy the leather covers directly from BMW in whatever color you need. Keep in mind that I'm talking about seats only but I assume you could buy any other part you need in the color you need it in.

As far as costs, take a look at the following parts lists to see an approximate retail cost (you could get a 25% discount from Newport BMW -- details here.
