Excellent write up. I don't like the looks of E90 sedan but the coupe is something else. There are times that I'm really thinking to trade my E60 for it . Congratulations on your new car and I hope you enjoy it as much as your E60.

This is the best description ever to explain how I feel, especially after I went from the 530 to the 535. Sometimes I get so frustrated because I feel like traffic is just chugging along and then I look at the spedo and realize I'm doing close to 80! Excellent write up!

I had a 335 loaner for over a month one time but unfortunately it did not have the sport suspension...BOOO SO I really couldnt compare the agility.

Cheers!
+1 Great write up. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Are you an English major? I feel like I'm reading a novel

Just joking! Nice write-up. Have fun with the 335i and give us a review later.

Great essay fivetothree, A for that.

I wouldn't not change my fiver to a 3-series, but that's only my view.

Have test drived the 335i Coup? and I was really close to buying it, but...
A really nice and fast car but too fast for me. I know my self that good,
that even if I'm soon 50, I just couldn't drive the car slowly.
It would only lead to loosing my drivers license and/or even worse.
I drive 95% city/suburban where one should not speed too much.

Love the comfort, looks and feel of the E60 520dA.
8.5 seconds from 0-60 mpg is good enough for me + the mpg is amazingly high.

Good luck and have fun with you new fine automobile!

I'm not complaining (well maybe I am because I do that really well), but my loaner is always an X3.
Very interesting topic--thx.

Great write up. As we speak I am trying to convince the wife she does not NEED an SUV and that she should go for a 335! Wouldn't that be sweet...a 535 and a 335 in one household...I think I'd go crazy!!

I did the opposite, after 5 years with an E46 Coupe decided to get a 325 M Sport Saloon and it was really disapointing, the ride was bouncy and harsh, the boot tiny, interior felt cramped and auto box was on red bull as in it would never stay in one gear if you went near the throttle. So I sold it after 3 months and got an E60 and the car is superior in EVERY way, it also looks a lot sportier which is amazing for a much bigger car, the new 3 series looks bland.
