2010 535xi Safe Mode
Hi all
Once in a while, when I drive aggressive, my car stops moving and goes into safe ("limp") mode. All I have installed, as far as mods, is Stage 1+ MHD flash. No codes pop up and it's driving me nuts! Could this be a spark or fuel issue or something else I am not thinking about?

I'm thinking there must be some codes somewhere or it wouldn't go into limp mode.. I think the first and most common would be the spark plugs/coils can't handle the boost, but again you should get a misfire. Possibly you are overboosting it as well/it's running lean if it's really cold outside. I'm not familiar with the MHD stg 1 settings but I would hope it's not aggressive enough for something like overboosting/leaning out.
