I'm searching for an answer on this online and coming up dry everywhere I go. Maybe my fault, but here it is:

• Was there in fact a sport seat offered for 2010 e60s?
• Could the sport seat be ordered through a dealer or online source?
• Would it be a drop-in replacement for the standard seat?

Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

 

the seats are shown as part of the sport package in 2010. You may be having trouble searching because BMW no longer calls these sport seats, but rather "20 way multi-contour seats". The ones in the 5 series are incredibly good, and even fit a fuller figure than the older versions of sport seats because the side bolsters are highly adjustable as to how tight the form to your body. I don't know about retrofitting, but they are a regular option so i would be very surprised if the mounts are not bolt in, while the wiring may be different. Note that the 3 series version is a completely different seat, although on first glance it looks quite similar - be sure to get the right version.
