2009 e60 - What type of stereo/entertainment system.
Hi
Doing some research as thinking about adding xcarlink and/or Dension etc.
I'm trying to figure our exactly what type of entertainment system I have in my 5 series.
I'm confused with all the discussion on M-ASK, CCC, CIC pre LCI/ post LCI etc.so perhaps someone can guide me in the correct direction.
Car is early 2009 e60 LCI, UK Market, Business edition. It has Business navigation which is front DVD driven and the smaller 6.5" screen. However it has the more modern idrive controller and storage buttons on the front dash. I don't have any USB points, just an aux port behind the arm rest. As far as I can figure out it's just the basic "Stereo" configuration with 6 speakers.
So what is the correct term for this system (CCC, MASK, CHAMP? etc.), and more importantly where can I find a wiring diagram for pin connections at the back?
Perhaps I'm wrong but www.bmw-planet.com site looks like it's based on WDS v12 which is ~2007 so not too sure if it covers my version. Also spaghetticoder.org is shut down.
Any help pointing me in the right direction greatly appreciated.
