All lliterature I've seen states 300HP, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_N54 shows 2008 at 326HP. What's up with that?

in EU they sell many other classifications of the e60 other than the 528, 535, and 550 like they do in the states, but they are all variations of the same engines i believe. so, my guess is you're just seeing the ratings for one of the EU versions not available in the US.

It's always been said that the x35 engine really puts out more then 300HP... maybe thats where Wiki is getting their info from... unofficial Dyno's people do
