Ok, hello everyone, first thx for reading this thread. Next I just got the 2008 528i In October 2009...In storage right now in Maryland while am deployed here in Afghanistan...I want to focus on the wheels get to have an aggressive look; Flushed with the fender and not sticking out. Perfect example would be Forum Member Howitzer. That is exactly how I want my wheels to look....

Thx,
Jason
Kandahar, Afghanistan

Welcome Jason! And thank you for your service. As I recall, Howitzer has the style 166 BMW wheels on his car. Can't recall what, if any, spacers he is using. Hopefully he'll see your thread and respond. If not, click on his name in the forum and send him a message...

See my sig, shows all mods. :D The wheels are OEM 166 with the M6 offset specifically. 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. I use no spacers because of the M6 offset. Keep in mind that if you decide to do this you better get a whole new suspension at the same time because you'll need to lower the car. Your 528i is a non-sport model which means that the second you put on 19's or 20's with low profile tires your car will look absolutely ridiculous without a proper drop.

Here are some examples:

Well, first, welcome to the forum and the family - also a salute from an old E-5
In terms of wheels you literally have hundreds of options, just depends on budget. A lot of them can give you a flush look like you're after. Any idea what you're looking for?
BTW, make sure you get back safely

Like Howitzer said "Beware the MOD BUG!"

Planning mods for your car is a nice distraction to have while over in the sand box. Just don't blow your whole bank account on it! :wow:

Come home safe and enjoy your 5er!

Thx for responding. Your pics are HOT man...good work with the camera...the RIDE, well it speaks for itself....Yeah I thought I would have to do some suspension modification. Where online u recommend getting some good suspension for the E60 along with some wheels...the usual for wheels is tirerack.com and discounttires.com Any other place you or any body might have in mind?
