I think the brochure is for US spec E60. Euro spec will get different designation and so I think we will still get the 523 or 525 here in HK because of the size of engines affect the amount of registration we pay every year.

Is that amber reflector not a requirement for the US? I see lots of people here who have brought cars back from the US to Europe, presumably after having lived and worked there for some time, and they mostly have amber reflectors on the front wings/fenders and red ones on the rear. Makes em look like some of the Dinky Toys I used to have oh so many years ago

Interesting to note that the brochure says that the 550 Sport package includes a rear spoiler, but neither the NY auto show 550 Sport nor the first ones to show up at dealers appear to have it.

Is the color of of the 5 er in the first few pages of the brochure carbon black? Is interior wood black bamboo?
