According to the Bentley Repair Manual the codes are the following:

P0335 = Crankshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit
P1727= Engin Speed Signal Plausibility

Additionally, the manual indicates that the 3rd # in each code represents the impacted system. The #3 in the 3rd spot indicates "Ignition system or misfire". The #2 in the 3rd spot indicates "fuel injection"

Im not an expert in e60s, but I would check out the High Pressure Fuel Pump as that is a common issue with e60s. Other than that Im lost. I hope this helps in the diagnosis.
