Hi, this may be a dumb question but it's my first BMW I've owned and don't really know how to tell. I just purchased a 2008 535i RWD and have been seeing a lot of post about them being stock twin turbo. Any help on how I can tell if mine has this??

Also I found a sticker on the engine that says 08876786

Yes if have a 08 535 you have two turbos. Read your owners manual thoroughly you will learn a lot.

I thought so but the salesman at the used car lot said it wasn't turbo. Could he be right? Did they make 535i non turbo in '08 or all '08 535i's are made with turbo?

The car is automatic with the option of manual thing lol. Sorry don't know what the real name for that is

Ur 535i has twin turbo do your research and dig what ever you can get using your VIN number.

That's one of the problems you can run into with a used car salesman, they are not always up to speed on some of the basic things. Send me your last seven digits of your vin and I'll take a look.

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't the '08 535i have a choice between a N/A motor and a Turbo motor?

Nope, all 535 N54 are twin T

Nope, the 08 and up 535i is turbo only, while the 04-07 530i is N/A only.
