This question is in regards to the software running on the vehicle.

2. Where do i check if a software update is needed
3. are software updates something that could be diy...or indy or dealer.
4. where can i get the software is update is needed

Thanks again for any help

INPA.

You need WINKFP (usually part of the same INPA package) to do an update to the latest version of software in any module. But, you need to have the SPDATEN files - in this case for the E60 model.
