Anybody think it will be available for 2008?
Not until they bump the V8 is my guess.

Prob be in March 07 as a 08... haha I pulled that out of the air. But if you think about it... it might happen... they wont put a 335 engine in the E90 and not the E60. How can the 5 have less power than the 3. It'll come... if not march then Sept.

I'm hoping for the Bi-Turbo 4.4 or 4.8 like the Alpina B-5
.

Anyone know if BMW will use the 335 engine in the E60?
(OK, maybe a large V8 or V10 or a twin-turbo diesel...)
The BIG question still is: will the facelift occure this spring with the new engines???
FACT IS, that the E60 facelift will happen next year!
Could they put the new best seller engine in a car in the spring (March)
when the car itself will be facelifted no later than in the fall (September)?
Traditionally BMW facelifts their cars in the fall!

BMW will dump the 540i V8 with just 310hp for the 335i.
Cheaper to build, the 6 cil. has equal hp and it's way better mpg.
Further hp raises (now 306) will come every year.
Even the 1 serie will get the turbo. (2008?)

The V8 is worse in everything, torgue, consumtion and pollution, not the
mention the weight!
