Hello! You can get the RPI scoop from Trinity.....http://www.trinityautosport.com/indu...0ixi-p-56.html. For the ECU...you can BMS powerbox for the N52 engines....http://www.modbargains.com/BMS-Power...-328i-528i.htm..
For the exhaust I would suggest Magnaflow...I am looking to get one myself....hope this helps. Happy holidays!
Not sure why you cant click on the links so just copy and paste them into your browser....

Ditto for the AFE cold air intake - also reduced hp results. Also dyno-proven.
Now, you would not go wrong with an RPI exhaust - proven to add hp.
RPI scoop and a BMC air filter are a must.
ECU tunes are available, but do research to be sure you don't mess the car up with it.
Forget super/turbocharging it - you'll waste more money than trading to a 550.
Reduce intake air temperature = get more power. Reduce unsprung weight = get a quicker car.
IMHO sprint booster is a waste of money. To find out exactly what it is, you can figure out how to use the search function. But in short, it is a chip that remaps the throttle inputs. It installs into the gas pedal assembly and makes your car appear faster, while not really adding any power at all. I recommend to spend this money on something else that is proven to add power.
You will not get 30 additional hp out of this car. I seriously doubt it. But you can definitely expect to get something like 20 with the above upgrades. Add an aggressive ECU tune and you'll have yourself a pretty fast car... unless you have an automatic. Basically, it is an uphill battle with its own pros and cons. But advice about trading it in for something with more power is not without merit.
Good Luck!

welcome dude
as persain _535 said don't waste your money on a 530i upgrade to 535i and remap it or if you love power and money isnt a big deal go for 550i
Im not saying that the 530i is a bad car NO,, it's one of the best BMW's productions and very reliable engines compared to BMW's V8's but if you want HP I'll say go for 535i / and modifications parts are availiable more than the 530i and cheaper for modifying

thanks guys.
in the end i wanted to beef it slightly 20-30 more hp realisticly.
its a daily driver.
i wanted a nice sound, with a more responsive throttle...i figured a good ecu tune will remap this and add a lil.
whose a good ecu tuner?
appreciate the responses.
thanks

Talk to Bruce and TT Motorsports about the ECU tuner he uses - from my experience, it is the most HP you can extract out of a tune. Bruce also happens to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to hooking these cars up right. I don't have his info, but C might. If not, just search Long Island directory for TT Motorsports.
