Hey everyone...

Yes it is a Yamaha engine and doing some research, it is similar to the Taurus SHO design which was also proven to be bulletproof. Yamaha engine designs have been around for a long time and a buddy of mine who teaches Ford techs to fix the new engines told me that the Taurus SHO engine was incredible! Way ahead of it's time.

As for reliability, well just for the record I have had my BMW 545 since August of 2008. It was stored away for 5 months in the winter so I've really only drove it for 5 months and it's been in the shop 4 times (1 major and 3 minor repairs). Don't get me wrong....I LOVE with my BMW but it's not the most relaible car around so far. I am sure glad I have a CPO with warranty or my repair bills would have been through the roof. I don't care if they are little repairs or big repairs, a visit to the dealer is not how I like to spend my time.

I have a 1997 Toyota Camry with 160,000 MILES (Winter Car) which BTW has NEVER seen a mechanic for anything other than tires, brakes. The Volvo was an awesome deal and it'll be great for the wife and kids. I tow snowmobiles in the winter and boats in the summer so I needed something that could tow up to 5000 lbs. I didn't get the 7 seater though! I have 2 kids 7 and 5 and didn't think we would use the back row. Actually that's one of the reasons we got it so cheap....everyone wants the 7 seater but we paid about $8000 less than we should have for the 5 seater. Couldn't pass it up!

Sorry no pics yet. Pick up the Volvo tonight.

Oh did I mention.......the BMW is finally ALL MINE!!!!!!!!!
