A ton of depreciation, but also high gas prices are bringing the prices down even further. Not a good time to be selling a v10 performance sedan that gets about 10mpg.

Performance cars like M5s are really taking a hit because so few people are indulging with purchases like that now.
tell me about it... I have been watching the prices on used Lotus Elises, and they are falling through the basement. You can get ones with less than 10k miles on them in the $29k to $32k range. If I can hurry up and get my 5 paid off, I will start looking for one.

anybody can post anything, esp scummy dealers trying to bait and switch people. Ended ebay auctions dont mean anything, and Id venture to say that more than 50% of "sold" cars on ebay, fall through.

The last time he had his accounted listed as in Dallas but his phone number was in Arizona and the car description showed California. Not only a scammer, but a bad scammer.

In the UK an M5 is depreciating like a stone.
This car
http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/auc/car_details...SNB92010CU17295
with that spec would have cost about ?74,000 ($150,000) new in December 2005 and is now for sale at ?39,000 ($78,000) -Ouch ! A big loss over 30 months.
