Be careful.... there are scammers.... 2006 M5 with 11K miles at $40K???? ... a scammer no doubt!

but this http://tinyurl.com/5t5v6g maybe real because it is a car dealer.

but those I saw for under $49K are real but high mileage and ran out of warranty that is why.
that's a shame bmw won't cpo their own cars.

That's what my dealer tells me as well. While ordering my 550, there was a used M5 on the lot. I asked if it was CPO'd and the reply was nope, BMW does not CPO the M cars...

Of course SA's have been known to be wrong before!
BMW will CPO M3's, M Roadsters and M Coupes. They will not CPO the V10's (M5 and M6).

CPO is better than nothing but I have heard very dismal accounts of what is not covered.

I guess its a combination of things...economy, cost of gas, non CPO,..... ....there must be a reason why they won't CPO a M5....

a big reason why i chose a cheaper 2005 545i rather than an M5. V10 is kinda big. I want my monthly expenses lowered not kept at the same level. Plus, I really do not drive that fast anymore. Gotta love the ACS kit. maybe a personal preference. i do like the ACS more than the M look.

One of the topics on the M5 board....2006 M5 in the 25 to 35K miles selling in the mid to high 40's.
Can't believe a $90k car in 2 years depreciate to almost half ...

I can buy 06 M5's at the dealer auction for around 40k so 46-50k retail is still a great deal!

Yeah, I've seen the Manheim auction histories from recent auctions... it's ridiculous.

Performance cars like M5s are really taking a hit because so few people are indulging with purchases like that now.
