Hi all

As the title says i'm going to attempt to remove my DPF on my E60 2006 530D(non lci) tomorrow and wanted to know of any issues/tip's that i need to be aware of, i'm planning to do this on my drive with the car raised at the front by normal car ramps.

I have searched the net but haven't found any DIY's on this, not even YouTube.

Cannot help generally but if its the one that is separate from the cat then you are lucky. If its the combined one its a bugger - heavy and tight. I took mine out from below.

Is it for cleaning or replacement?

Thanks for your reply, i decided i need a 4 poster lift so i have left it and will pay a garage to swap it over.

Its a gutted replacement.
