Hi guys, im really confused about the specs of the 2005 and 2006 525i engines.
Some sites claim they are the same at 215hp
others say the 2005 had the M54 which is 190bhp and the 2006 got the N52 which is 215bhp.
as opposed to the american market, is it true that all european spec 04-08 525i already share a 215bhp engine
your feedback is most appreciated
cheers!

BMW MY changes in Europe (where the car is built) in September every year.
In US, for some odd reason, the MY changes in March.
To add some equations, some cars are sold as "what ever MY's" by the dealers,
and still, some EU engines are not sold in the US.
Check out the cars "Chassis Number" and put it in to this.
Then check it out on this sites Information pages.
