I just saw the new RL yesterday. It looks pretty good in dark color. The interior is very well designed but I dont like the overall exterior design since it is to lame and boring nowadays.
I was so shocked when I found that the trunk and the rear leg room were so small for this size of car (this car should be larger than 5 right?). the salesperson confirmed my complaint and he told me that acura design the car (interior) smaller than the previous one. hmm...what a thinking...

the good thing is that they have GPS as a standard with traffic jam monitor. (what a nice feature!!). but..it is still acura though.

I found this might interesting for you guys to know :
"Help! I purchased a BRAND NEW TL from Acura in Redondo Red and the paint is bubbling off and rusting off the car. It is only 3 months old with 4,000 miles. The bumper has been replaced and painted because this was the first place the problem showed up. My Acura dealer only wants me to go away and doesn't want to deal with me, but the car looks TERRIBLE! Acura Client Services won't return my calls." [source : acuraworld - posted by surfer6]

OMG...I wont buy acura for a looongg time. keep the E60 shining...!!!

The paint chipping off the hood and bumper in Acura is quite common.

I just test drove the RL. Very nice car, lots of options and luxurious interior. Doesn't feel anywhere near as composed on the road as the bimmer. Not even close.

Thanks for the quick review..... But I notice F1s on 19 inch. I bet a stock 545 would not be as composed as your car. ....

I just saw the new RL beside my E60 when i was in the carwash. In my opinion, that car looks terrible. Acura TL looks better and more elegant than Acura RL though. But still, E60 is still ahead compared to any ACURAs!

I haven't driven an Acura since I blew the dress off an Acura sales lady by letting her drive my brand new six speed 540. She was still in a state of shock the last time I saw her.

True, it wouldn't be fair to compare the RL with my 'modded' car. But I drove my car with the OEM wheels and tires in Europe after ED, and had it up to over 150 mph on the autobahn. No way I would have done that with the RL - still a huge difference.

Bottom line, it's still an Acura. Telling somone that you have an Acura is a lot different than a BMW. Regardless of the model. And any E60 is way better. I still love the design. I was one that saw the spy photos and decided then to get one.

Naughty boy. I would have loved to do that but had to keep revs below 4000. So 135 was tops for me. We were out of Germany the first day. Did some lead footing in Spain two weeks later after she was broken, but the Spaniards are terrible drivers and I didn't have the same sense of security that I did on the German Autobahn.
