2005 545i w/ SMG No Crank No Start

No Crank / No Start....My 2005 545i, w/ the SMG transmission was parked for the winter. Last week I attempted to start it and nothing - totally dead, so I replaced the battery. Now the dash lights up, iDrive is fine but there's no crank and no start.

I figure out that the problem is that the transmission won't shift into neutral, that was a duh moment after 2 wasted days. The dash shows that's it's in neutral, but believe me, it's not. Towing it isn't going to be an easy proposition with the tires locked up as you can imagine - living in Wheeling WV trying to find a towing company with dollies that I trust scares me as well. Also, I fear and dread taking it to the local dealer, as I don't trust them.

I swapped the salmon relay, disconnected the IBS, etc. Prior to the relay replacement there was no noise from the SMG pump priming when you opened the door, but when I popped the new relay in I heard the pump prime. I purchased this car last year from a personal friend who was very, and I mean very particular with it (I have a two inch thick folder with dealer service receipts mostly for preventive maintenance and there were zero issues with the car when it was parked.

Thank you!

My Carly reader is telling me this, and I can't cleared them.
