2005 545i no start after alternator swap
Had alternator changed and now no start.. I've been told 5 million things different by everyone. Anyone have info on INSA/d? Is it the program I need? Is there anything more simple or anyone who can help?

If it was starting before then it's something that was done wrong. An alternator swap is just like any other car. What is it actually doing? Did you disconnect the battery before the swap?

If you got a new alternator, maybe the harness connector doesn't fit properly on your non OEM alternator?
May be the alternator is faulty at the B+ connection?

Yes battery was disconnected. It worked at first then it threw a code and went into "limp mode" battery checks out good but when swapped it runs okay for a bit then throws code again.
