2005 545i Coolant Reservoir Sensor

Replacing the coolant reservoir. Removed 3 hoses with clips, no problem. Removed electronic sensor on the bottom of the reservoir, problem. The connector seems to have a small rectangular clip that locks it to the reservoir tank. It popped off when removing, doesn't appear to be broken, but I can't figure out how to get it back on.
Any help would be appreciated.
