2005 530i Headlight Light on Dash when lights turned on/off Immediatel

To all,
OK, weird thing happening. If I turn the headlights to the ON position immediately after starting the car, or start the car with the light knob in the ON position, a yellow light comes on the dash. It is in the shap of a headlamp with downward sloping lines (looks like a low-beem picture, if this makes sense), and an exclamation point in side a triangular light on the dash.
This has happened a couple times, and happened tonight after i turned the car off. Lights appear to be working normally, and the upon starting the car the light / icon on the dash goes off in roughly 20 seconds.
Curious. Any assistance would be appreciated. Otherwise I got to ring the dealer. Curiosity is killing me.
