what kind of buls are needed. i want to change to bright LED lights for the turn signals. thank you

E60 comes with a few bulbs so its hard to say. Does your owner manual not specify it? It could be WY21W, 3157 or 581. On my euro spec LCI it is WY21W. Here are some pics of bulbs.

If you don't want to use resistors another option is to code away errors so you can use any LEDs with the correct fitment. Info on getting it coded...
